Privacy policy

What we collect

• Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, country of residence and language.
• Financial information and documents you upload: payslips, bank statements, tax returns, proof of income, ID and property documents.
• Property and transaction details: location, value, the loan amount you are seeking and its purpose.
• Communications: emails, in-app chat messages, WhatsApp messages and comments on documents.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and website usage data (see "Cookies" below).

Why we use it

• To understand your situation and find the products, tracks and banks that suit you best.
• To build, check and submit your file to banks, and obtain an approval in principle and offers for you.
• To coordinate professionals for you, when you ask us to.
• To store the terms of the mortgage you obtained and later suggest a refinance or early repayment when it pays.
• To communicate with you, support you and improve our platform.
• To meet our legal obligations.
• To send you updates and webinar invitations, only if you signed up for them.

Artificial intelligence

Our platform uses AI tools from external providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to identify, sort and check documents and prepare your file. These tools assist your broker; our decisions and recommendations are made by a human advisor.

Who we share it with

• Banks and lenders, to obtain an approval in principle and offers for you.
• Lawyers, surveyors, insurers, translators and currency exchange providers, when you request the service or your file requires it.
• Mortgage advisors, our employees or external advisors working with us, to handle your file.
• Technology providers that run the service for us: platform hosting, website and forms, email, CRM, WhatsApp, automation and AI tools.
• Competent authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your information.

International transfers

Some of our technology providers store data outside Israel, including in the United States and the European Union. We work to make sure your data is appropriately protected there too. If you live in the UK or the EU, you may have additional rights under the data protection laws that apply to you.

How long we keep it

For as long as your file is active and for up to 7 years after it closes, unless the law requires a different period. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, use or disclosure. No method of security is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, subject to our legal obligations. To make a request, write to hello@lendabroad.com.

Updates and marketing

We send updates, marketing and webinar invitations only if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every message or by writing to hello@lendabroad.com.

Cookies and similar tools

This website uses cookies and similar tools. Some are needed for the site to work, for example to remember your language. Others are third-party analytics and marketing tools, such as Google Analytics and social media pixels, which help us understand how the site is used and show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Minors

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information about minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, with its date.
